Brody's new ride/swimming

I don't know who "needed" this truck more..Brody or Chad?? I think they about break even on this one..LOL!! Of course this truck was meant to be a my first craftsman truck but everything we have always turns into a Geib's Garage theme...So as you can see this is now just another vehicle we have that has the logo...I really should post a picture so you get what I am talking about...Let's see we now have 2 trucks, the moto van, the mini chopper, and now Brody's truck which all is some way have this sticker on them, but I can't complain when it gets Chad business!!
This is at grandma and papa's house! He would swim in this thing all day if I would let him...This picture is just a glimpse at how this kid has no fear of what could happen!!

Clutch

These two pictures just make me laugh!! Our dog Clutch as you can see is a rather BIG golden and he had this really weird pocket in his ear which you could tell was blood and it kept getting bigger by the hour I swear! So we decided to take him to the vet emergency place and of course he had popped a vessel in his ear and it needed drained...We were there for HOURS and if you know Chad he CAN'T sit still for the life of him so this was a really interesting visit...and of course Clutch being almost the same as him after awhile he was so over it that he just layed down in the middle of the floor! Clutch really does lay like this too it's so funny..

So they got it all drained and the next day we had to take him to his normal vet and they stuck a drain in it to hopefully heal it back together so it couldn't happen again! He had to wear one of those retarded cone things to try and prevent him from scratching it and that stayed on for a whole few days maybe, it was driving him and Chad insane! But of course that one healed fine but ANOTHER freakin one popped...so after a long 2 weeks of this fun and a HUGE vet billed he's looking better and better everday!! We come to find out that he has devolped some really bad allergies and we switched his food in hopes to keep his itchyness down and he's been getting oatmeal baths which HE LOVES!!

Brody's new dresser

Chad's sister gave us this dresser and I thought I would make it into a toolbox for Brody's new room when we move..NOPE we still haven't closed on the house yet but at least I am still getting stuff done for when we do finally move...I still need handles and it does still need a few more coats of red but I'm loving the way it is starting to look!! So here is a before and "almost" after look!!

Supercross is OVER!!

YAY for supercross being over for this year! It goes by so fast but seems so slow at times...Brody and I couldn't be happier NO more early mornings taking daddy to the "hairport" as Brody calls it and no more 2 weeks spans where we don't see him!! The only problem now is Brody isn't a very happy camper when daddy isn't home 24/7!!

They did the inspection on our house yesterday and we hoping it will close by the end of the month..It is an older home built in the 70's so it does have some stuff that has to be fixed first but I would much rather have a old house to make completely how I want it and of course the main reason we are buying it is because it has a shop built onto the house and Chad can run his business out of it so he will always just be in the backyard working instead of somewhere else!! I'm curious to see how Brody does in a new house..He is really good with change considering its all he's known since day one!!

So far so good with this pregnancy..I still can't believe I am already 26 weeks...WHAT I feel like last month I found out I was pregnant!! Brody I think is starting to realize what exactly is in mommy's belly...He's always rubbing it and saying "you're not done cooking yet come out in August" We are pretty dead set on naming him Cage and we would be in trouble if we decided to change it because Brody is always talking to him and tells people "my mom has a Cage in her belly" HA HA...He is such a handful!! But we will see how he reacts when Cage is actually here and he has a reality check but I know in time he will love having a little brother!!

GAVE IN

YES so as you can see I have caved in and made a new blog!! I feel like I look at a lot of people's randomly and thought..Ok just make a new one already!!

Plus my sister Kim and her husband Jordan will be in Chicago for the next 6 months and I'm hoping she will be blogging lots so I can see how much her kids will be growing in that time!!

We really have so much going on lately and I know I have quite a few people on my facebook and I'm sure they are up to par with everything but just a little update...

Brody is now 3 and holy cow is he a tough one but sooo fun!! We had a combined birthday party with his cousin Koston (kim's little boy) and it was so much fun! Brody LOVES his cousins so much! Every time we come back from Arizona all I hear about is Porter, Koston and Gavin those 3 are by far his favorite...Of course there is plenty of girl cousins there as well but he just loves the boys sooo much!!

We are also having another boy in August lets all hope Brody loves him as much as his cousins! We are trying to explain everything to him and some days he's all about a baby brother and other days he lets us know good and well he doesn't want one! I'm sure when it comes down to it and he is here he will be in heaven having him around!!

Chad is wrapping up this supercross season and let me tell you how EXCITED I am!! 5 more weeks and counting...YAY!! He LOVES his job but being on the road every weekend for 18 weekends in a row takes a toll on Brody...We will be happy when he is home for the summer!!
